Job summary
Emerson is seeking an experienced Aerospace & Defense Business Operations Analyst – Demand to drive forecast accuracy and deliver actionable insights across S&OP, Demand Planning, and related functions. The role partners with BU Operations, Product Management, Global Operations, and Sales to improve planning and execution.
The ideal candidate brings a data-driven mindset, strong collaboration skills, and proficiency with Tableau, PowerBI, Salesforce Analytics, and Kinaxis Maestro to support
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with > 5 years of related experience.
- Experience using data-driven insights to evaluate risks and opportunities.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decisions.
- Experience with large data sets and multiple business systems.
- Proficient in data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI; Salesforce Analytics a plus).
- Experience supporting S&OP processes and Kinaxis Demand & Supply Tool (Maestro).
Responsibilities
- Support monthly S&OP process with Product Management, Global Operations, and Sales.
- Analyze demand, bookings, backlog, inventory, and fulfillment performance to identify risks and opportunities.
- Provide data-driven insights to executive leadership for decision-making.
- Communicate insights to drive positive business impact.
- Document processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
