Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products in Warren, MN is seeking a planning professional who can translate forecast demand into an efficient production plan, aligning capacity and inventory with service goals across a high-volume SKU environment. You will drive forecasting improvements, connect Sales and Operations, and lead initiatives to maximize site network capacity while maintaining data in the ERP system.

Requirements include 5+ years in planning, BS in a related field, and ERP experience

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in a planning or similar role.
• Proven ability to develop production plans and inventory strategies.
• Proven track record of managing a large number of SKUs in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; NetSuite/SAP experience preferred
• Data mining and analytical skills with an above-average proficiency in MS Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Lean Six Sigma, Project Management and CPIM a plus
• BS degree in supply chain, operations management, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage a production plan based on sales demand, forecasts, and inventory requirements to meet customer service goals.
• Develop strategic vision to improve forecasting accuracy, demand planning, and optimize inventory for higher service levels.
• Connect Sales and Operations to maximize site network capacity and drive growth opportunities.
• Analyze long-term demand to address production capacity surplus or constraints.
• Perform statistical analysis of sales history to identify trends and sourcing improvements.
• Coordinate new product launches, transitions, and discontinuations with Sales & Marketing.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Service, and Transportation to improve order fulfillment.
• Maintain KPIs and ERP data fields driving planning accuracy.
