Job summary

HuFriedyGroup is seeking a results-driven Demand Planner to develop and maintain accurate forecasts that drive production planning and inventory strategies. You will work with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and Product teams to translate insights into actionable plans.

The role requires 3–5 years in demand planning or related analytics, strong Excel and ERP proficiency, and the ability to influence cross-functional decisions in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field such as Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or Finance.
• 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning or analytical roles.
• Experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment preferred.
• Experience with ERP and forecasting systems required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts for finished goods and key product categories.
• Analyze historical data, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and new launches to improve forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Product Management to incorporate assumptions into demand plans.
• Lead or support S&OP processes by providing demand insights and recommendations.
• Monitor forecast performance metrics and communicate risks or opportunities to stakeholders.
• Partner with Production Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing to align supply plans with forecast demand.
• Support inventory optimization to balance service levels with investment.
• Analyze lifecycle changes, launches, transitions, and discontinuations.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Participate in cross-functional projects related to supply chain optimization and ERP enhancements.
• Ensure data integrity within ERP, forecasting, and planning systems.
