Job summary

HuFriedyGroup, a leader in dental instruments and infection prevention, seeks a Demand Planner to develop forecasts for finished goods and key categories. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Procurement to refine demand projections and optimize inventory across a diverse product portfolio.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in manufacturing, and proficiency with ERP and analytics tools to minimize stockouts and elevate customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 3–5 years in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory planning.
• Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Experience with ERP and forecasting tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts for finished goods and key product categories.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and launches to improve forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Product Management to gather market intelligence.
• Lead or support S&OP processes by providing demand insights and recommendations.
• Monitor forecast performance and metrics such as accuracy, bias, inventory turns, and service levels.
• Identify demand risks and opportunities and communicate supply constraints or excess inventory.
