Job summary

Ferretti Search is seeking a Demand Planner to own forecasting for a growing U.S. business and work closely with major accounts. This strategic role focuses on analyzing POS trends, inventory levels, and manufacturing lead times to build accurate forecasts and drive production decisions.

The ideal candidate will challenge assumptions, drive change, and leverage data to improve inventory performance, with opportunities to automate a largely manual process in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to analyze large SKU- and customer-level data.
• Owns the end-to-end forecasting process.

Responsibilities

• Own demand planning and forecasting for several hundred SKUs across the U.S. business.
• Analyze historical POS sales and trends to identify demand patterns.
• Review current U.S. inventory and determine future production requirements based on customer demand.
• Work closely with Account Managers to understand customer strategies, growth expectations, and changing demand.
• Determine how customers can achieve growth objectives without creating excess inventory.
• Make monthly forecast adjustments in coordination with Account Managers.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve currently manual forecasting processes.
• Continuously look for ways to eliminate waste, improve processes, and make demand planning more scalable.
