Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Demand Planner for a contract-to-hire assignment in Northbrook, Illinois. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and improving demand forecasts to support production planning, inventory management, and customer service objectives across dental product lines.

The ideal candidate will translate trends and historical data into actionable forecasts, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and Procurement to optimize inventory and minimize stockouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning, or related analytical roles.
• Experience with ERP and forecasting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts for key product categories.
• Analyze historical sales, trends, seasonality, promotions to improve accuracy.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Product Management.
• Lead or support S&OP by providing demand insights.
• Monitor forecast performance, bias, inventory turns, fill rates.
• Identify risks and communicate supply constraints proactively.
• Align supply plans with forecast with Production Planning and Procurement.
• Develop reports and dashboards for decision-making.
