Job summary

GALE Pacific Limited is seeking a Demand Planner to translate data and market insights into accurate demand forecasts that drive inventory decisions. You will partner with Sales, Marketing and Procurement to incorporate promotions and new product launches into plans and help ensure stock availability across channels.

The role sits at the centre of our Supply Chain, focusing on forecast accuracy, visibility of promotions, and contributing to S&OP processes with dashboards built in Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI for reporting.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as D365 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage demand forecasts across retail and commercial product lines.
• Use historical data, seasonal trends and insights to predict demand and variances.
• Partner with Sales & Marketing to incorporate promotions and new launches into forecasts.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Mitigate stock shortages and excess inventory with Procurement.
