Oracle is seeking a Principal Demand Planner in California to lead long-range forecasting for server, storage, and networking demand. You will consolidate large data sets, build end-to-end models, and present clear recommendations to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant demand planning and forecasting experience.
• Extensive experience developing demand plans and forecasts for new and existing products.
• Advanced ability to consolidate, validate, and analyze large data sets from multiple sources.
• Strong attention to detail, with a consistent record of producing accurate, high-quality work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve end-to-end long-range demand models at multiple levels.
• Consolidate large data sets from multiple systems and stakeholders; validate data quality.
• Build demand plans based on strategic goals, trends, and inputs from cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to obtain timely inputs for planning processes.
• Analyze forecast performance; identify patterns, risks, and anomalies.
• Present demand plans and recommendations to senior leaders to drive alignment.
• Develop mitigation strategies for forecast risks and data gaps.
• Balance long-range planning with short-term execution across supply chain dependencies.
• Partner with product management to evaluate lifecycles and impact on demand.
• Provide detailed demand analysis and inputs to management, finance, and operations.
• Produce routine and ad hoc analyses for senior management.
• Maintain disciplined demand review processes to improve forecast accuracy.
• Translate business strategy into measurable forecasting inputs.
• Partner with BI teams to convert planning processes into scalable system models.
