Job summary

Lennox International is seeking a Demand Planner to develop and maintain demand forecasts for finished goods and parts, guiding inventory decisions. You will mentor junior planners and collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and product management to ensure forecast accuracy and accountability.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years of experience in forecasting and demand planning, with strong data analytics and planning-system skills (SAP/APO or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent mix of education and experience considered.
• 1-3 years related experience in demand planning or forecasting.
• Strong forecasting, analytics, and experience with planning systems (SAP/APO or similar).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a demand forecast for finished goods/parts to drive financial and inventory decisions.
• Mentor and guide other demand planners on complex tasks.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and product management to gather information and drive forecasting accountability.
• Determine metrics to identify forecast issues and improve processes.
• Develop new methods for data analysis and refine forecast models and hierarchies.
• Ensure quality of the team's forecast and consolidate data for analysis.
• May provide direction and training to less experienced team members.
