Job summary

Gentex Corp in Carbondale, PA is seeking a Demand Planner to develop and maintain demand forecasts to support inventory and supply planning. This role requires strong Excel, data interpretation, and the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.

You will partner with the Senior Demand Planner to drive forecast accuracy, reporting, and data-driven decision making, while owning defined products and customers within the forecasting process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (supply chain, business, analytics).
• 2–4 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or analytics.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to interpret large data sets and summarize insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical sales, trends, seasonality, promotions, and other drivers.
• Analyze actual vs. forecast to identify variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Own assigned products, SKUs, customers, or categories within the forecasting process.
• Prepare concise reports and presentations highlighting key trends and insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the Senior Demand Planner on planning activities.
