Job summary

Gexpro Services is seeking a Demand Planner to manage forecasting activities supporting customer service and inventory objectives. The role involves estimating future demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models with strong analytical and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have supply chain or procurement experience, advanced Excel/VBA skills, and proficiency in Power BI/Tableau and SmartSheet. A hybrid work schedule is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Advanced computer skills including Excel, VBA, Power Pivots, Power BI/Tableau and SmartSheet.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; 3+ years in sourcing, supply chain or procurement.
• Ability to manage time and resources autonomously; strong analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Generate next 18 months demand plans based on historical data, seasonality, promos, and pricing.
• Collaborate with sourcing, sales and service teams to sustain and improve the demand planning process.
• Publish a 3-month forecasting cycle calendar in advance and ensure timely completion.
• Oversee demand planning cycle; own SOPs and maintain data quality in the planning tool.
• Ensure master data cleanliness for correct item codes in demand planning.
• Facilitate consensus sign-off meetings; push finalized plan to ERP and finalize monthly forecast.
• Analyze forecast accuracy metrics and monitor improvements across cycles.
• Review outliers with Program Manager and Forecast Management Team.
