Job summary

Jones Bros. Contractors, LLC in Mt. Juliet, TN is seeking an experienced Alternative Delivery Manager to provide leadership across all phases of alternative delivery transportation projects, from pursuit through construction execution.

The role emphasizes business development, proposal development, and contract/design management. The ideal candidate will have a strong heavy civil transportation background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple pursuits and projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of five years in project management, construction management, or alternative delivery roles; equivalent combinations considered.
• Experience developing win strategies, pricing approaches, and project schedules.
• Experience in technical writing for qualifications and proposals.
• PE and/or DBIA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new alternative delivery opportunities through client relationships.
• Participate in business development, market strategy, and pursuit planning.
• Collaborate with legal, financial, marketing, and technical teams on proposals.
• Lead joint venture partner and subcontractor selection.
• Lead go/no-go decisions for pursuits and manage design reviews.
• Guide technical writing for qualifications, proposals, and submittals.
• Serve as primary contact during preconstruction and design phases on assigned projects.
