Job summary

Leonardo DRS, Inc. is seeking a Sr Program Controls Specialist to join our PMO in Danbury, CT. You will partner with program leadership, engineering, finance, and customers to develop and maintain integrated program plans from proposal through delivery.

The role requires strong scheduling, budgeting, and EVM knowledge. You will mentor junior staff and drive cross-functional collaboration across complex defense initiatives, ensuring alignment with program objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience developing and managing schedules for large, complex defense programs.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management principles or related processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, and budgets across multiple programs.
• Collaborate with program leadership to align technical, financial, and operational objectives.
• Conduct analysis to define requirements, milestones, resources, and critical paths.
• Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure successful delivery schedules.
• Provide schedule expertise to management and customers, suggesting optimizations.
• Coordinate budget planning and tracking across program teams.
• Support proposals by developing schedules and identifying risks.
• Mentor junior scheduling professionals.
