Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain or 5+ years relevant experience.
• CPSM or CPM preferred in lieu of a degree.
• At least 4 years procurement experience with a degree.
• Procurement in defense industry required (min 2 years).
• FAR/DFARS experience required.
• SAP S/4HANA experience preferred.
• Experience negotiating in automotive or defense industries.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and administer contracts/purchase orders for defense needs.
• Support bid/proposal submissions and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS.
• Develop commodity strategies and optimize sourcing directions.
• Maintain supplier base and analyze cost data for best value.
• Enter and maintain data in SAP; mentor buyers as needed.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Materials, Quality, Engineering, and Finance.
