Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of proven procurement experience.
• Experience in US Defense industry preferred (FAR/DFAR knowledge a plus).
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans aligned with project goals.
• Lead a team of procurement professionals with mentorship and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with Sr Buyers, Purchasing Managers, and internal/external customers to plan procurement.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on capabilities, cost and quality.
• Oversee procurement from requisition to delivery with compliance.
• Analyze data and generate reports on procurement activity and cost savings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate purchasing activities into project plans.
• Conduct analysis of business processes to identify value creation opportunities.
• Develop KPIs to measure value capture and track progress.
• Stay updated on industry trends and propose innovative approaches.
