Job summary

Allison Transmission is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead defense contracting actions from negotiations through closeout. You will enforce compliance across Defense functions and act as the official channel with external stakeholders.

Expect collaboration with prime contractors, DoW, and international customers, handling diverse contract types and complex regulations. The role reports to Legal, requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in defense contracting and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, NDAs, and reps & certs.
• Experience with various contract types (FFP, IDIQ, T&M, OTA) and international contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage defense contracts from negotiations through closeout.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across Defense functions.
• Serve as official channel with external stakeholders for defense programs.
