Job summary

CIRCOR International, Inc in Monroe, NC seeks a Sr. Buyer/Planner to procure highly engineered components for product development and manufacturing. You will manage RFQs, negotiate, place POs, resolve supply and invoicing issues, and drive KPIs with a global team to meet customer demand and financial goals.

The role requires strong negotiation, MRP/ERP experience (IFS preferred), and ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing or lean environments.
• Experience with MRP in an ERP environment; IFS preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of supplier selection, qualification and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demand, forecasts and historical usage to plan make-to-order, stock-to-order and build-to-forecast.
• Manage MRP parameters to ensure supply and inventory to meet demand.
• Create Purchase Orders and resolve late/partial shipments with suppliers.
• Expedite material and resolve invoice discrepancies as needed.
• Prepare RFQs and analyze price, lead time, terms and specs.
• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain team to identify cost savings and ensure TCO, quality and delivery.
• Monitor contract performance and ensure supplier compliance with stocking programs.
• Develop suppliers through KPI reviews for on-time delivery and service levels.
• Communicate pricing issues to Purchasing Manager promptly.
• Possess strong cross-functional collaboration and teach teammates where needed.
