Job summary

Join CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense in Warren, MA as a Buyer responsible for all procurement activities for assigned commodities. You will coordinate RFPs, purchase orders, and supplier returns, while ensuring accurate MRP data and timely deliveries to support production planning and sales requirements.

You will identify inventory needs, assist with PO acknowledgements, manage supplier performance, and resolve discrepancies with accounting.

Qualifications

• Understanding of overall materials flow and related supply chain functions.
• Experience in price negotiation, analysis and supplier selection.
• ERP knowledge with IFS preferred and experience in MRP systems.
• High ethical standards and alignment with company goals and values.
• Strong project management, prioritization and results focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities for assigned commodities and support RFPs and purchase orders.
• Identify and requisition MRP and non-MRP inventory to meet production and sales needs.
• Assist in PO acknowledgements and updates in the MRP system.
• Manage open PO reports, resolve late/partial shipments with suppliers.
• Process PO revisions and communicate with suppliers; resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Authorize procurement within approval guidelines and maintain data integrity in MRP.
• Distribute RFPs, manage due dates, and escalate issues affecting production.
