Job summary

Everett Community College seeks a Dean of Library Services to provide strategic leadership for the Library, Media Services, Tutoring Center, and Center for Transformative Teaching.

The role oversees library instruction, information literacy, media services, and academic support programs, while guiding faculty development and open access resources.

The position is full-time, with hybrid work eligibility and a focus on student success through data-driven program enhancement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, Education, or a related field.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in libraries, learning resources, or academic support in higher education.
• Experience supervising, evaluating, and developing faculty and/or staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, vision, and direction for Library, Media Services, Tutoring Center, and Center for Transformative Teaching.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate faculty librarians and staff across units.
• Develop and manage budgets, grants, technology, and facilities.
• Establish goals, policies, and procedures aligned with College priorities and student success.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, service-oriented culture.
