Job summary

The SNHS includes the Department of Nursing and the Department of Health Sciences, enrolling nearly 800 undergraduates; the nursing program is pursuing initial accreditation with CCNE, review scheduled for 2026. The next dean will partner with faculty, staff, students, and external partners to advance programs and partnerships.

• Leadership experience in complex academic units and strategic planning.
• Commitment to academic excellence, faculty development, student success, and innovation in nursing and health sciences education.
• Experience with accreditation processes and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and oversight of SNHS academic programs and services.
• Support faculty excellence and success, including tenure and promotion processes.
• Advance PC’s Catholic, Dominican mission through the school’s programs and services.
• Oversee enrollment strategies and student outcomes.
• Foster inclusive excellence and collaboration across departments and external partners.
• Drive fundraising, grant proposals, and external partnerships to support priorities.
