Job summary

Cognite is seeking a Deal Design Manager to shape high-value enterprise SaaS transactions. You will lead commercial design workstreams, translate complex data integration needs into optimized packages, and act as a trusted advisor to Sales leaders.

Reporting to the VP of Deal Desk, you’ll drive governance with GenAI tools, establish repeatable playbooks, and mentor the GTM team, ensuring margin protection and scalable growth across global markets.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Deal Architecture: design creative options, trade-offs, and alternative structures for multi-year enterprise SaaS transactions.
• Strategic Collaborative Navigation, Principled Negotiation & Margin Governance: challenge pricing deviations and optimize high-margin software components.
• Cross-Functional Orchestration: align deal terms across Legal, Finance, Product Management, and Executives to streamline approvals.
• GenAI-Powered Proposal Review & Governance (Shape): deploy AI tools to review proposals for liabilities, ASC 606 risks, and pricing leaks.
• Operational Leverage & Scalability: create CPQ prompts and discounting guardrails to empower the GTM team.
• Revenue Ops Continuity: maintain Salesforce data hygiene and support training on CPQ best practices.
