Job summary

HDR is seeking a strategic Resources Business Group Data Steward to define, share, and reuse data across Business Classes and Practices. This leadership role emphasizes clarity, governance, and enabling analytics for HDR's diverse industries.

The role reports to the Resources Business Group Technology Director with cross‑functional partnership with HDR Data Operations and IT leadership. HDR emphasizes employee ownership and an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategic leadership in change management and business data.
• 15+ years of experience providing data-focused solutions and services.
• Experience within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
• Experience in power, industrial, and/or waste sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the RBG data point of contact and SME for terms with business classes and practices.
• Develop and maintain data glossaries with business context.
• Build alignment around data processes, priority, and usage across teams.
• Promote responsible data use, quality, access, and reuse.
• Govern externally sourced datasets and lifecycle considerations.
• Lead a RBG SME network with HDR Data Operations and leadership teams.
• Promote data fluency across the RBG.
• Collaborate with BG Data Stewards and Enterprise Data teams.
