Job summary

HDR is seeking a Resources Business Group Data Steward to define, share, and reuse data across the Business Group and HDR. This leadership role focuses on making data simple, useful, and connected to business processes today and in the future.

The role reports to the Resources Technology Director with a dotted line to the Digital Design Lead, working closely with HDR Data Operations and the Technology Leadership Team to enable better decisions and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data-focused roles or leadership.
• Experience building data governance and glossary definitions.
• Ability to coordinate with leaders, operations, and marketing managers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the RBG data point of contact and leverage SME expertise.
• Develop and maintain data glossaries for key terms with business context.
• Build alignment around data processes, priority, and usage.
• Promote responsible use of technical data and data quality best practices.
• Support governance of externally sourced datasets and lifecycle considerations.
• Lead a RBG SME network to align practices and share lessons learned.
• Promote data fluency across the RBG and collaborate with teams.
• Communicate and collaborate with BG Data Stewards and Enterprise teams.
