Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Data Product Manager to guide the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, aligning business needs with data capabilities and governance. You will collaborate with data engineers, architects, product teams, and business leaders to deliver high-impact, scalable data solutions.

The role emphasizes data stewardship, analytics enablement, and leveraging AI to deepen client relationships. This hybrid role is based in Charlotte, NC, reporting to the Data Product Management team.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements, create a data product vision and roadmap, and establish feedback loops.
• Develop understanding of operational data stores, build ties with product teams, ensure data quality through pipelines.
• Create and lead a development plan, break vision into deliverables, manage stories in agile environment for prioritization.
• Communicate complex data concepts clearly in written and verbal channels.
• Lead planning, development and implementation of new technical products, analyze technical markets and requirements.
• Employ qualitative and quantitative analysis to continually improve user experience.
• Participate in business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
• Participate in engineering practices in development, CI, and automated deployment.
