Job summary

Triumph is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to partner with leadership and translate complex data into actionable insights. You will build scalable analytics, support board-level reporting, and help shape business strategy through data-driven recommendations.

You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve analytics capabilities, data infrastructure, and reporting accuracy while mentoring analysts and driving consistent, governance-first processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data warehousing.
• Strong experience influencing business decisions through data analysis and KPI development.
• Advanced analytical and statistical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Experience building ETL processes, data pipelines, and reusable datasets.
• Familiarity with dbt, Dagster, GitHub, and Git-based workflows.
• Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or Python-based reporting tools.
• Comfortable working with AI-enabled development tools to improve efficiency and workflows.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially with executive audiences.
• Organized with strong project management and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop reporting, dashboards, and visualizations that support executive decision-making
• Deliver actionable insights through advanced analysis and data storytelling
• Contribute to board-level reporting and strategic presentations
• Partner with technology and business teams to improve automation and data infrastructure
• Serve as a subject matter expert on transportation data and analytics strategy
• Build and maintain scalable datasets, ETL processes, and data pipelines
• Ensure data quality, governance, and reporting accuracy through documented processes
• Aggregate and analyze data from multiple systems to support strategic initiatives
• Mentor and support analysts by sharing best practices and encouraging professional growth
• Collaborate across teams to create efficient, data-driven solutions that deliver customer value
