Job summary

CapTech is seeking a Data Analyst to join a collaborative team focused on turning data into actionable insights for clients across industries. You will define data requirements, design data models, and deliver governance and quality checks to ensure reliable analytics.

In this role you will work with Agile teams to build and optimize ETL pipelines, create visualizations in PowerBI/Tableau, and communicate findings to business stakeholders and executives.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an Agile development environment and with requirements definition.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical languages for large datasets.
• Design experience for data models, databases, data profiling and data analysis tools.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data ingestion, and data wrangling.
• Ability to communicate concepts to both business and technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Quantify ambiguous business problems by analyzing business processes, data, and systems and gathering data requirements from clients.
• Implement data governance by capturing data definitions, data stewards, and transformations through mappings.
• Develop data collection systems, implement databases and analytics to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct data quality analysis and provide recommendations to improve data health and QA processes.
• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to guide decision making.
• Develop reports using modern data visualization tools to surface insights for end users.
• Communicate with executives, data modelers, developers, business users, and customers to build solutions and interpret results.
• Collaborate with other data workstreams on specific projects.
