Job summary

IANS, a leading cybersecurity decision support organization, is seeking a Consulting Technical Specialist who will work with clients and internal teams to identify the right consulting solutions. You will guide discovery, scope engagements, and drive conversations that align client needs with our services.

You will lead opportunity development, partner with Account Managers, and leverage AI tools to surface pipeline and accelerate deals across our client base.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a client-facing consultative role such as Technical Account Manager, Technical Consultant, Solutions Consultant, or Sales Engineer.
• Experience leading discovery conversations and stakeholder meetings.
• Ability to position complex services and solutions in a clear, business-focused manner.
• Experience navigating executive-level conversations and influencing decision-making.
• Strong understanding of opportunity management and consultative sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead client discovery and opportunity development with executives, security leaders, and technical stakeholders.
• Identify consulting opportunities and align client needs with IANS consulting services.
• Position the value of IANS solutions to both technical and business audiences.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to develop opportunity strategies and build pipeline.
• Drive next steps through meetings, budgets, timelines, and objection handling.
• Define engagement objectives and translate client requirements into actionable recommendations.
