Job summary

The University of Minnesota's College of Continuing and Professional Studies seeks an Associate Director of Curriculum and Assessment to strategically coordinate curriculum, assessment, and accreditation across undergraduate and graduate programs. This 100% time role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement and requires collaboration with faculty, governance bodies, and instructional design partners.

The position reports to the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and emphasizes alignment

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus 6+ years in higher education leadership or curriculum/assessment.
• Master's degree plus 4+ years in higher education curriculum and assessment.
• 3–5 years of progressive leadership in a higher education setting.
• Experience with curriculum design and navigating accreditation cycles.

Responsibilities

• Support curriculum governance and integrity through development, mapping, and governance materials.
• Coordinate curriculum milestones and align program leadership, governance, and instructional design partners.
• Lead accreditation, assessment, and reporting processes across programs and units.
• Oversee adjunct onboarding, syllabus alignment, and training collaboration with ATD and FERPA/ADA guidance.

Education

BA/BS plus at least 6 years in Higher Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field

Master's degree in Higher Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field plus at least 4 years of professional experience in higher education curriculum and assessment

Doctoral degree in a relevant field (preferred)
