Job summary

cb5 Solutions LLC in Washington DC seeks a Chief Technology Officer to guide a government agency's IT modernization. You will advise senior leaders on strategic direction, shape target architectures, and translate trends into executable plans that secure data and empower the workforce.

You will lead across systems, network, and cybersecurity engineering, drive post-quantum cryptography migration, and mentor engineers while interfacing with mission stakeholders and RMF processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, or related field; 15+ years IT engineering experience.
• Depth in at least three of systems, network, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture.
• DoD 8140 Advanced level qualification and CISSP-ISSAP or ISSEP or equivalent.
• Experience in TS/SCI environments and multiple classification domains.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME-level technical leadership across systems, network, and cybersecurity for a US GOVT agency.
• Lead architecture and secure IT systems design across multiple classification domains.
• Develop migration plans for post-quantum cryptography and engage vendors accordingly.
• Mentor engineers, review designs and accreditation artifacts for quality and compliance.
• Support RMF activities and security accreditation packages for systems under purview.
