Job summary

Secure Community Network (SCN) seeks a Chief Technology Officer to lead strategy, architecture, and security for its national safety platform. You will drive a multi-year technology roadmap and oversee the 24/7 command center and AI-enabled analytics.

This role requires a decade of tech leadership, OSINT/threat intel experience, and enterprise IT for a distributed workforce. Travel across the US is required; local candidates may work hybrid from Chicago.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive technology leadership experience.
• Experience building OSINT / threat intelligence technologies for mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, governance and information security principles.
• Experience with enterprise IT for a geographically distributed workforce.
• Ability to lead budgets, vendor relationships and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel and engage with law enforcement and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology strategy, architecture, and investment as a member of the executive team.
• Develop and execute a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with mission priorities.
• Oversee enterprise IT, security, and command-center systems for a distributed workforce.
• Drive AI adoption with governance and quality controls for analyst outputs.
• Build and manage a high-performing technology team and partnerships.
