Job summary

Range is seeking an experienced Head of Business Operations to own Range's cross-functional initiatives as we scale. This role partners with the executive team to drive high-priority projects end-to-end, turning ambiguity into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

Based at our Headquarters in McLean, VA, with an in-office schedule Monday through Friday, you will establish operating standards, drive execution across teams, and maintain alignment across Product, Finance, Operations,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in top management consulting or business operations at a hypergrowth startup.
• Undergraduate degree and MBA from top-tier universities.
• Highly analytical, with the ability to use data to structure problems and measure outcomes.
• Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations where the path isn't yet defined.
• Excellent project management and attention to detail.
• Ownership mindset with drive to deliver outcomes, measuring success by results.
• Strong cross-functional influence, able to mobilize teams and align senior stakeholders.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced startup with strong business judgment.
• Excellent communication skills translating complex problems into clear plans and updates.
• Experience in wealth management, FinTech, or regulated financial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the company's highest-priority cross-functional initiatives end-to-end.
• Create structure in ambiguous situations with clear milestones and owners.
• Drive execution across multiple teams without formal authority.
• Bring analytical rigor to frame problems, evaluate options, and measure impact.
• Keep functional leads and the executive team aligned on status and decisions.
• Establish operating standards, templates, and playbooks as Range scales.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Compliance, Advisory, and member-facing teams.
