Allegiant in Las Vegas is seeking a Crew Planning Specialist to oversee long- and short-term staffing, bid preparation, and base staffing decisions. You will coordinate with Flight Crew Management, Network Planning, Crew Payroll, and others to ensure compliance and timely information flow.

Responsibilities include developing monthly bidding resources, auditing bid packets, and collaborating with departments to optimize crew utilization while supporting work‑life balance for flight crews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Minimum three (3) years of total experience in the Airline Industry.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in part 135/121 scheduling/dispatching or crew scheduling/planning.
• Exceptional Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel formulas for data mining.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate ideas clearly.
• English proficiency for reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to function in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Self-starter with discretion dealing with confidential information.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Network Planning to create flight pairings through optimization.
• Outline headcount models to meet operational demand.
• Develop monthly schedule bidding resources and documents.
• Maintain base changes, TDY assignments, and bid flags.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to set TDY parameters and monthly hours.
• Lead annual crew vacation bid and adjust portals after awards.
• Audit bid packets for regulatory and CBA compliance.
• Generate pre-bid pairings and final bid awards in Crew Management System.
• Maximize crew utilization while maintaining quality of life.
• Audit data integration between bidding interfaces and crew schedules.

Education
