Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. is seeking a senior analyst for Crew Resources to optimize crew allocation and resource delivery within the operation. You will analyze data, leverage technology, and work with IT, Finance, Crew Technology and Operations Management to drive short- and long-term priorities.

The role requires flexibility for shift-based work, including weekends, and a strong foundation in legacy and next-generation systems to support disruption management and real-time decision making.

Responsibilities

• Drive divisional strategy by daily execution of operational decisions
• Providing technical expertise, in systems and through application of the Pilot Working Agreement (PWA)
• Allocate system resources at the best possible cost
• Manage crew member trip logistics, including hotel assignment software
• Coordinate team actions during IROPs
• Drive process changes and the adoption of new tools across the team
• Partner cross divisionally with crew technology owners, Flight Operations and IFS stakeholders, diverse IT teams, and analytics partners to provide meaningful feedback and development direction based on operational utility of optimization solutions as well as adherence to business rules, applicable FARs, and cost and safety conscious practices
• Serve as subject matter expert in not just matters of PWA, FAR 117 and 121, FAWR, and Delta procedures but also demonstrate an ability to easily translate these concepts into readily implementable solutions in partnership with product management and IT as part of the Agile delivery cycle
• Assist the product owner to execute the development roadmap that balances business value, funding, cross-initiative dependencies, and development complexity that guides current and future development
• Assist in writing functional user stories and acceptance criteria that enable a smooth handoff to development
• Assist in defining the value of new functionality and ensure that the product meets the needs and goals of Crew Resources and crew members
• Operate with comfort in legacy systems and processes to identify areas of improvement
• Manage device provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle support for new hire, return-to-work, and Initial Qualification Flight Attendants, ensuring technology readiness and a seamless onboarding experience.
