Job summary

The ideal candidate has 2.5+ years of hands-on commercial credit analysis experience, strong financial acumen, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2.5+ years of hands-on commercial credit analysis experience.
• Experience analyzing financial statements, spreading financials, assigning risk ratings, and recommending credit limits.
• Strong financial acumen and written/verbal communication skills; ability to articulate credit decisions diplomatically.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial statement spreading and analysis to evaluate customer creditworthiness.
• Analyze year-over-year financial performance, cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk.
• Recommend customer credit limits, credit ratings, and risk classifications.
• Prepare written credit analyses and recommendations to support credit decisions.
• Partner with sales teams to evaluate customer credit exposure and recommend solutions balancing risk with business objectives.
• Monitor customer accounts, identify potential credit risks, and support collections and order release decisions.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen credit policies, processes, and controls.
