Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in credit risk evaluation, B2B collections, and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer creditworthiness using credit reports, financial statements, references, and banking verification.
• Establish credit limits, terms, and conditions in line with company risk policies.
• Onboard new accounts with the sales team while mitigating exposure to bad debt.
• Monitor existing credit balances, payment patterns, and financial health to detect risk.
• Perform periodic reviews of credit limits and adjust lines based on risk.
• Identify high-risk accounts and apply risk-mitigation tactics.
• Drive AR collections via calls, emails, and payment reminders.
• Maintain reduced DSO and minimize bad debt write-offs.
• Resolve billing disputes and payment discrepancies with internal teams.
• Negotiate payment plans and oversee escalation when needed.
• Prepare AR aging reports and collection forecasting for leadership.
• Maintain credit files and customer agreements in compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP finance modules and Microsoft Excel.
