Job summary

Dole Fresh Fruit North America (DFFNA) is seeking a Credit & Collections Manager to lead the credit and accounts receivable function. This role manages a team across Charlotte, NC and Westlake Village, CA, driving SOX-compliant processes and cash forecasting.

You will partner with Sales, Treasury, IT and Finance to optimize the order-to-cash process, implement improvements, and ensure accurate reporting of DSO, AR aging, and bad debt mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, or related financial functions; packaging/CPG experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with D365 or comparable ERP; Power BI preferred.
• Knowledge of PACA trust provisions and related collections preferred.
• NACM credit certification (CBA/CCE) preferred.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or people-leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of six A/R Specialists across Charlotte, NC and Westlake Village, CA.
• Establish performance expectations, manage workloads, and schedule.Evaluate new customer credit applications by analyzing financials, references, and credit data.
• Monitor portfolio risk, administer credit holds/releases per SOX and policy.Manage AR collections, aging reviews, and high-risk accounts across locations.
• Oversee deductions, disputes, and bad debt recoveries; support PACA and licensing entries.
• Own month-end close for AR, cash posting, and reconciliations; prepare forecasts and reporting.
