Job summary

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is seeking a Logistics & Inventory Coordinator to optimize finished goods visibility, plan transfers, and manage 3PL relationships across the network. You will ensure on-time, in-full delivery while balancing costs and inventory health across production, warehouses, and scoop shop operations.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, freight coordination, inventory management, or supply chain.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with LTL, FTL, and refrigerated freight operations.
• Experience with distributors and retail accounts (UNFI, KeHE, DPI, or similar a plus).
• Working knowledge of routing guides, EDI, and ASN processes.
• Proficiency in TMS, ERP, or WMS platforms; NetSuite or SAP experience a plus.
• Hands-on experience managing inventory KPIs: WOS, OTIF, fill rate, and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• CPG Inventory Management across the network: production facility, 3PL warehouses, distributors, and DTC fulfillment centers.
• Plan and execute inventory transfers between 3PL warehouses, distributors, and fulfillment centers to balance stock and minimize costs.
• Reconcile 3PL and WMS records with ERP; investigate discrepancies and drive root-cause resolution.
• Report inventory KPIs weekly with recommendations for replenishment and rebalancing.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound freight movements for retail and distributor accounts; track shipments and manage delays.
