Job summary

Van Drunen Farms is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to coordinate material flow and support production planning. You will partner with Purchasing, Logistics, Production, and Site Leadership to maintain inventory accuracy and readiness.

The role requires 3+ years in inventory control within manufacturing, with an associate degree as a baseline; a related Bachelor's is preferred. Proficiency in Word/Excel and ERP experience are valued, with bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Associate degree is required; a Bachelor's in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities focused on process improvement.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel; ERP experience preferred; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain efficient material flow to support production and customer needs.
  • Partner with Purchasing, Logistics, Production, and Site Leadership on inventory control and readiness.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through physical counts, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Ensure availability of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and packaging supplies.
  • Generate and communicate inventory, production, throughput, downtime, and consumption reports.
  • Investigate discrepancies, overages, shortages, and 3PL issues while supporting improvements.
