Job summary

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is hiring a full-time Logistics & Inventory Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team. This role is critical to ensuring our products move efficiently, on time, and on budget from production facilities to distributors, retail partners, and DTC fulfillment centers.

It sits at the intersection of operations, vendor management, and customer service, coordinating domestic freight movements and inventory health across the network.

Responsibilities

• Own finished goods inventory visibility and accuracy across production, 3PLs, distributors, and DTC centers.
• Manage WOS by SKU/location at distributors/retailers; monitor sell-through and flag stock risks.
• Plan and execute inter-3PL transfers to balance stock and reduce freight/storage costs.
• Reconcile 3PL and WMS records with ERP; investigate discrepancies and drive root-cause resolution.
• Report weekly inventory KPIs (WOS, fill rate, accuracy, aging) with replenishment recommendations.
