Job summary

UDF is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market share across co-manufacturing, wholesale, and other UDF businesses. The role is based at the corporate office in Norwood, OH, and requires collaboration across units to deliver growth.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in CPG sales or related roles, with strong experience with major retailers and food manufacturing co‑manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five to seven years of CPG sales or related experience.
• Direct experience with Kroger, Meijer, Walmart or similar major retail partners is highly preferred.
• Direct experience with Food manufacturing co‑manufacturing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop business development strategies and go‑to‑market plans with key leaders.
• Grow key customer accounts and strategic partners.
• Forecast revenue and manage pipeline; hit revenue and margin targets.
• Expand distributor and co‑pack partnerships across regions.
• Collaborate with Marketing to drive programs and brand initiatives.
• Identify trends and whitespace opportunities using market analysis.
• Build relationships with decision‑makers and buyers across segments.
• Lead contract negotiations and proposal development.
• Support product launches and channel expansion.
