Job summary

Intelligence Careers seeks a highly experienced Counterintelligence and Security leader to oversee nationwide proactive counterintelligence and security activities for U.S. government programs.

This is an excepted GS-15 level position; current federal employees at GS-15 and below are ineligible to advance. The role requires expert knowledge, strategic planning, and strong communication across IC components to detect, deter, disrupt, and defeat threats.

Qualifications

• Experience: 12 years leading strategic planning and directing programs.
• Badged and Credentialed Counterintelligence Agent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive counterintelligence and security activities across the US government.
• Develop national-level strategies and policies to support national security interests.
• Identify emerging trends, evaluate strategy and data, and propose innovative solutions.
• Communicate organizational vision effectively to senior leaders and forums.
• Coordinate across IC components to manage priorities and drive change.
