Job summary

Intelligence Careers seeks a Lead for proactive counterintelligence and security activities across the United States government to detect, report, deter, disrupt, investigate, exploit, and defeat foreign intelligence threats.

This is an excepted-service GS-15 position open to the public and current federal employees at GS-15 and one level below. Qualified applicants will demonstrate expert program management, security policy development, and the ability to brief Congress.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of security administration programs and security specialties.
• Expert knowledge of IC organizations, mission posture, structures, capabilities, processes, and policy development.
• Expert management skills to supervise multiple teams implementing programs and reporting to Congress.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive counterintelligence and security activities across the United States government.
• Supervise multiple teams, develop policies, and report activities to Congress and oversight bodies.
• Conduct assessments, identify needs, and develop process improvements in security programs.
• Communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences, verbally and in writing.
