Job summary

Sierra Space seeks a Program Cost Scheduling & Control Analyst III to participate in cost and schedule control across contracts requiring validated cost scheduling systems. You will analyze data, prepare reports, and ensure programs stay within negotiated parameters and funding guidelines.

You will assist in budgets, schedules, and financial analyses like funding profiles and variance analysis to support decision-making, maintaining expenditures and reflecting contractual changes in control

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is typically required.
Typically 5+ years of related experience in finance/analytical roles.
Experience with management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative roles.
Experience in finance-related positions such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis.
Experience collecting data from several sources, performing analysis, and communicating data.
Experience with Excel's advanced features (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
Strong business analytical skills with data analysis tools.
Knowledge of DoD, government contracting, and/or public auditing policies, labor rate composition.

Responsibilities

Lead or participate in cost and schedule control analyses for contracts.
Prepare budgets, schedules, and variance analyses to support program decisions.
Develop funding profiles and sales outlooks to ensure adequate funding.
Maintain accurate expenditure records and reflect contractual changes in control systems.
Monitor outstanding work against contracts to keep baselines realistic.
