Job summary

Sierra Space invites applications for a Program Cost Scheduling & Control Analyst III to oversee contract cost and schedule control. The role entails analyses, reporting, and budgeting to ensure alignment with government guidelines and negotiated parameters.

Ideal candidates will have strong data analytics skills, extensive Excel use, and experience with DoD contracting. Prior leadership in finance projects is a plus with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (or Master's with 3+ years).
• Typically 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience in management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative roles.
• Experience in finance-related roles: Financial Operations, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis.
• Experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis, and communicating results.
• Advanced Excel features (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc.).
• Strong business analytics skills with data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of DoD, government contracting, and/or public auditing policies, labor rate composition.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cost and schedule control on contracts with validated cost schedule control systems.
• Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work.
• Perform analyses and reports to ensure contracts stay within negotiated parameters.
• Provide insights for decision-making on funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate expenditure records and ensure adequate funding.
