Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking an Estimating & Pricing Analyst III to develop cost estimates and pricing proposals for bids, contracts, and project changes. You will gather data from multiple sources, perform detailed analyses, and present findings to support informed decisions.

The role emphasizes cross‑functional communication, adherence to FAR and government pricing knowledge, and advanced Excel use to drive accurate, competitive proposals. Strong teamwork and leadership potential are valued.

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Typically 5+ years of related experience.
Intermediate knowledge of financial operations, cost management, estimating, financial planning, or financial analysis.
Experience collecting data from several sources, performing analysis, and communicating data.
Ability to interpret data of a technical/programmatic nature and utilize research and analysis methods.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/influence others.
Experience with cross‑functional communication and performance reporting.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.

Responsibilities

Develop and prepare cost estimates and pricing proposals for new bids, contracts, and project modifications.
Collect data from multiple sources and perform detailed analyses for decision support.
Communicate findings to stakeholders and ensure alignment and transparency.
Maintain knowledge of FAR, FAR Supplements, Cost Accounting Standards, and Government pricing to ensure compliance.
