Job summary

Turner & Townsend in New York City is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join our team and deliver cost management services across major programs. You will partner with clients, project teams and vendors to develop estimates, monitor budgets and manage change orders throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a degree in construction-related field, 3–5 years of cost management experience, and familiarity with procurement routes, value management and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in cost management in the construction industry.
• RICS accreditation or working towards it is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Advise on strategies and bid evaluation with vendors.
• Develop project estimates including construction and direct costs.
• Present cost reports and forecasts to clients.
• Maintain commercial risk register and cost controls.
• Manage invoicing and close-out processes.
