Job summary

Accenture is seeking a cost estimating professional for our Infrastructure & Capital Projects team in Atlanta. You will prepare estimates, evaluate life-cycle costs, manage risk registers, and support pre-contract activities for large-scale facilities projects.

The role requires 5+ years in cost estimating or QS, proficiency with CostX and MS Office, and strong communication. Onsite work with clients and partners is expected, with flexible time for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in cost estimating or quantity surveying.
• Proficient in CostX to produce estimates and cost plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Contact preparation skills.
• Post contract administration skills.
• Project close-out skills.
• Team player with clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, and benchmarking reports.
• Develop Value Engineering and Life Cycle Costing options.
• Identify risks, support risk registers, and contribute to pre-contract and procurement processes.
• Attend client and design team meetings, advise on cost implications, and capture key actions.
• Assist with lease negotiations, change orders, invoices, cost reports, and development appraisals.
• Contribute to project templates, draft qualification questionnaires, and take on additional duties as required.
• Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
• Some in-person time for collaboration and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities.
