Job summary

Hoffman Construction seeks a Construction Cost Manager to lead cost controls, forecasting, and commercial management for major industrial and data center projects. You'll manage a team of 8–15 Cost Engineers and coordinate with Project Directors to align forecasts with field execution and client expectations.

This in-office role focuses on ensuring accurate cost reporting, robust change management, and proactive risk/opportunity identification, driving project performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
• “10+ years of progressive construction experience” on large complex projects.
• Experience leading and developing Cost Engineers/Project Controls teams.
• Proven cost management, forecasting, change management, and commercial leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project cost reports, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Oversee cost reporting, validation of subcontractor change proposals, and trend analyses.
• Lead cost risk assessments, mitigation, and scenario forecasting with leadership.
• Mentor a team of 8–15 Cost Engineers and Project Controls professionals.
