Job summary

Hoffman Construction is seeking a Construction Cost Manager to lead project cost management for technically complex facilities. You will oversee job cost reporting, forecasts, and change management, guiding a team of 8–15 Cost Engineers and collaborating with Project Directors and executives.

The role is fully in-office and/or located at the project jobsite, with a salary range of $100,000 to $160,000 DOE plus incentives. Strong leadership and client-facing skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive construction experience in GC / EPC environments.
• Experience leading and developing Cost Engineers or Project Controls teams.
• Proven cost management, forecasting, and commercial skills on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project cost reports, budgets, forecasts, and controls.
• Lead cost analysis, scenarios, and executive-level recommendations.
• Manage change orders, subcontractor pricing, and risk assessment.
• Oversee cost data quality across tools and reporting platforms.
• Mentor a team of 8–15 Cost Engineers and Project Controls staff.
• Collaborate with Project Directors, Operations, and clients to align forecasts with execution.
