Eastman is seeking a Cost Accounting Analyst in Kingsport, TN to advance cost data collection, analyses, and reporting across products and units. You will support monthly closes, develop cost models, and collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement to identify cost drivers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Master’s or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
• 2+ years of cost accounting, financial analysis, or related finance experience.
• Strong Excel, ERP (SAP) and Power BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and maintain cost data across products and units.
• Prepare standard and ad-hoc cost analyses including cost-to-serve and variance analysis.
• Support monthly close activities related to cost accounting entries.
• Develop and maintain cost models, standard costing, and product cost roll-ups.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement to identify cost drivers.
• Provide analytical support for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Produce reports and presentations for Finance leadership.
• Support ERP/BI tool implementations and process improvements.
• Document cost accounting policies to ensure data integrity.
